Archer Arquitectos, as it was originally known, began in 2003 with only two newly graduated architects, their laptops, and an extra room in one of their parents’ homes. The firm has grown tremendously since then, thanks to a proven record of successfully delivered projects, positive word of mouth, and an unparalleled commitment to the work. It’s now made up of more than 30 committed and talented professionals and has expanded to include departments dedicated exclusively to architectural design, construction, project management, carpentry, as well as a specialty in designing, building and the maintenance of pools.
Based on this growth, expansion, and constant pursuit for innovation, the firm’s logo needed a revamp and an overall much-needed whole branding edifice. They contacted Marabunta Creative to get this mission straightened up.
The slogan “Beyond Building” is at once literal and figurative. It refers to Archer Group's commitment to seeing to every aspect of a project—from conception to execution to care.

Identity
The firm’s original name (which Marabunta Creative director Mara Zapiain developed back in 2003), was Archer Arquitectos. The name Archer has a rich history. The name marries the two family names of the firm’s founding owner-architects, and it also honors the discipline, artistry, agility, and focus that have defined archery since the Stone Age. Through our work (and craving to keeping things simple), the firm was recently renamed to Archer Group.
This subtle change allowed the company to keep the local renown it had built up over a decade, while also making it more attractive internationally. In México, architects also lead construction, but that is not so everywhere. The word “Arquitectos” utilized in the original name only limited the areas of design. We introduced “Group” to reflect Archer’s growing team and wide array of services.
The new logo integrates the “A” in “Archer” and the “G” in “Group” and in a manner that conjures the image of a cement building block, which is commonly used in construction throughout México. The gradient shades of blue symbolize the waters that surround the Baja Peninsula as well as swimming pools, an important branch of Archer Group services.

We focused on creating an elegant website design with the same signature sophisticated style of the projects Archer Group executes, as well as a user-friendly friendly flow and easy-to-digest information. It was also imperative to create two websites—one in Spanish given that the company is based in México and another in English since the majority of projects are for foreign clientele. The sitemap is easy to navigate, and we illustrated the site with large images that can stand alone. Archer Group’s work is so exquisite that it’s best to let the work speak for itself.
